summer/fall color: sodalite and olympian blues

There was a solid chance of me going overboard with a post on ways to incorporate BLUE into the summer-into-fall wardrobe.  In high school, my mother actually put a moratorium on me buying any additional navy blue items of clothing because I had so many navy blue tops and dresses!  I love summery sodalite blue - a striking cobalt (I always get compliments when I wear the Target tee in the first board below!) as well as the olympian blue (a teal-tinged navy) we'll be seeing everywhere this fall.    Blue stripes or colorblocking add an instant nautical touch to an outfit, and blue with polka dots is fun and preppy without being over-the-top.
