fall color: tomato & tangerine in home decor

As a lover of neutrals, I can be intimidated by bright colors - and tangerine and tomato are the brightest colors in this season's Pantone palette!  However, I love the idea of adding orange and red accents to a neutral room for fall!  I especially love these colors when they're used to create an eclectic, bohemian style.

Switching in an orange or red rug could be a quick way to update for fall and completely change the energy of a room.  I like the quirky, collected style of this room from Five Days Five Ways.

I'm loving this West Elm dhurrie rug's fall colors, and the modern shapes are on trend.

ScrapHacker shared this shot from Jonthan Adler's SOHO store - I love that orange chair with the pile of vintage-inspired pillows!

Wow!  A tangerine sofa has amazing impact in a room that pairs traditional elegance with Moroccan-influenced light fixture, side tables, and ottoman.  The room was designed by Kattie Ridder, via The Rustic Modernist.

This is a creative lounge space created for a wedding reception featured on Ruffled, but wouldn't it be cool to have a chalkboard wall in the living room paired with orange accessories and tribal prints?

Bold tomato gallery wall via Apartment Therapy - the white trim is so unexpected!  For similar impact without as much commitment, you could replace neutral mats in black or white photo frames with matching brightly colored ones!
